At an event held at Coalition Music in Toronto, Premier Kathleen Wynne announced the recipients for Year Two of the Ontario Music Fund. The Ontario Music Fund (OMF) is a three-year, $45 million granting program that was announced in 2013 and it's designed to provide grants to music businesses that produce, distribute and promote Ontario-based music and artists.

This year, 123 recipients will receive more than $14 million in grants from the Ontario Music Fund - allowing Ontario-based music businesses innovate and expand! To date, the support from the first year of the OMF has helped to create or retain 2,000 jobs and produced $24 million in additional revenues for the industry.
