On Oct 29th, MusicOntario will be heading to Guelph to deliver two progams:

1) One-on-one consultations. Do you have questions about your career?  About the music industry in general? Want feedback on how to apply for funding, how to set up a tour, how to market yourself, etc? MusicOntario will offer a number of 1-on-1 consultations to bands, solo artists, and members of the local music industry.

The 1-on-1 sessions will take place at the Guelph Arts Council office, and will be conducted by MusicOntario staff.  While there is no charge, those who wish to participate MUST pre-register by sending an email to: info@music-ontario.ca.  Spots are very limited, so register today! This program is being offered in partnership between MusicOntario and the Guelph Arts Council on a pilot basis.

2) Workshop: Working With the Media. For bands or solo artists who want advice on how to get coverage in the press, this is the workshop for you! One of Canada's top publicists Ken Beattie of Killbeat Music will be on hand to share tips, tricks, secrets, best practices, and more.  Ken has worked with artists such as Dan Mangan, Great Lake Swimmers, Jason Collett, Yukon Blonde, Hayden, Cold Specks, and dozens more.

The cost of the workshop is $10, or $5 for MusicOntario members.  To register and reserve your spot, click here.
