Label Management Production Record Producer Songwriter Studio

Husband and wife team Christian Bell-Young and Karen Bell-Young​ opened their home-based music studio in September 2017, with the goal of building a comfortable and creative space where personalized and enriched musical experiences for all ages and abilities could occur.

Students of CBY Music have achieved great success. Our students have earned leading roles in professional musicals with Drayton Entertainment and Theatre Aquarius, as well as with local community theatre companies. Our record label has launched the recording careers of some of our most talented artistic songwriting students by recording and releasing their music to major platforms and promoting them globally. Many of our vocal students have won numerous scholarships at local and provincial vocal festivals and students on our exam-track consistently achieve first-class honours with distinction with the RCM and Conservatory Canada.

And with our expanded programming, including The CBY Music Choir, our "Aspire Series" of masterclasses and our newly-added "Acting for the Camera" course (led by award-winning Canadian film and TV actor Alysa King) CBY Music is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after private performing arts studios in the Hamilton/Halton region.
