MusicOntario professional development initiatives provide ongoing and accessible industry education to the music industry in Ontario, delivered by top professionals with varying degrees of experience to deliver unique perspectives. The series will focus on a combination of the never-changing fundamentals and the ever-changing music industry, and those who attend will have opportunities to ask questions, as well as network with today’s leading industry pros.
While all workshops are open to both members and non-members, members will receive a discount or FREE admission.
In order to succeed, it’s vital to build and maintain connections within your own community, as well as building bridges to others. This concept is at the heart of our series of community networking events in multiple cities across Ontario, open to local companies/industry/artists. MusicOntario networking events not only help those in a region maintain and create important relationships, but will also help bridge the gap with other regions.

MusicOntario’s mission is to provide an avenue for members to gain the information and insight into how to succeed in the music sector. In addition to our educational programming and networking events, MusicOntario’s newsletter and online/digital resources page serve to keep the industry of Ontario informed from anywhere with internet access.
In addition to these programs and services, MusicOntario members are also invited to use the association as a general resource for questions they may have about the industry. Members may schedule consultations (via phone, skype, or in person) with MusicOntario staff on an as needed basis . We’re here for you!

Members will be able to access our digital resources page with a username and password upon joining (currently not available, update coming soon).
All MusicOntario members will automatically be signed up to the MusicOntario newsletter as well as the CIMA newsletter. These newsletters provide a wealth of information, from funding deadlines, professional development opportunities, showcasing opportunities, industry news, and more.
