MusicOntario Presents Four Showcasing Artists at Lavazza IncluCity Festival

Inaugurated as a grassroots non-profit film festival in 2012, developed into a multidisciplinary and multicultural organization that embraces all facets of the arts. ICFF celebrates over 15 different local communities and attracts 250,000+ attendees. Through its beloved one-of-a-kind events that span from design to music, and from art to cinema, ICFF promotes Canada as dynamic cultural and artistic destination.
Throughout the year, ICFF organizes special initiatives exploring different aspects of world culture, while catering to the needs of diverse and multi-generational audiences and upholding Canada’s growing cultural and artistic sectors.

Avery Raquel
Avery Raquel is an award-winning, charting Canadian Alternative Soul artist whosemusicfuses vintage soul, R&B, jazz, and pop into a modern, emotionally resonant sound. With a voice that defies her age and songwriting that blends vulnerability with maturity, Avery delivers a refreshing take on soul-infused storytelling.

Ana Lia
Ana Lía is vibrant described as a firecracker on stage; a blend of powerful, emotional and fun. Her music is shaped by her Dominican roots and other musical influences such as Latin Jazz and flamenco, under the umbrella of pop. She loves to tell the stories behind each of her songs and take the audience with her through the journey of each song. While never skipping an opportunity to dance to the drums and percussion of her music.
Brooklyn Doran
Brooklyn Doran (she/her) is a queer singer-songwriter from Northwestern Ontario, now a beloved voice in Toronto’s indie-folk scene. Known for blending vulnerable storytelling with wit and heart, her live shows are intimate, engaging, and unapologetically honest. Brooklyn has toured extensively across Canada, performing at festivals like Pride Toronto, Alianait Arts Festival, Peterborough Folk Festival, and beyond. Her 2023 album Fixer Upper explores themes of love, loss, and queer identity. Through her music, Brooklyn fosters space for LGBTQ+ stories to be heard. Learn more atbrooklyndoran.com.
Altered by Mom
ALTERED BY MOM is a female-fronted posi-vibes alt-rock band based in Toronto,Canada. JUNO-winning songwriters Gina Kennedy (Bass/Vox) and Devon Lougheed (Guitar, Vox), joined by Max Trefler (Drums) combine a knack for infectious melodies and classic songwriting with a tongue-in-cheek love of rocking the hell out.
Last year, the trio released their latest EP, “AHEM,” and since then they have become “unstoppable” (Exclaim!). They have commanded 2024 stages from Hillside Fest in Ontario to Giantstock in Nova Scotia and Reepherbahn in Germany. Fans of Alison Mosshart, Alanis Morissette, and Paramore take note, their first full-length is dropping Sept 5th, 2025.
Altered By Mom has opened for artists like Dear Rouge, Matt Mays, Limblifter, and Bif Naked. And have co-written songs with members of Bush, Mother Mother, and Aysanabee (contributing multiple songs to the latter’s 2024 JUNO-Winning album for “Songwriter of the Year”).
