Our friends over at the Unison Benevolent Fund are full of great ideas, as proven by this weeks' event at The Drake here in Toronto. "Benevolent Beer and Burlesque" is a fundraiser for the fund, taking place on Wednesday, Oct 23rd at 7pm.

From Unison:

"Toronto’s entertainment industry gets together for an evening burlesque show at the Drake Hotel on Queen to raise money for musicians in need. Toronto’s own queen of burlesque theatre, Red Herring  (www.aprofessionaldistraction.com) will bring her troupe of premier performers to the stage joined by a few special guests.

It's a school night so end time will be 10pm ensuring we can all be home early in our beds dreaming of feather boas.

All monies raised will go to Unison.

Tickets $50 available through the Unison Benevolent Fund website or foisted on you by our friends.
Please forward this to your friends! If you can't attend you can contribute!"
