About Alexander Saint
Alexander Saint is a Folk artist with bloodlines, deeply tied to the Toronto music scene through his Guyanese-Canadian father, George St. Kitts. As a multi-instrumentalist, he crafts sonic portraits, telling stories through contemplative melodies, heartfelt lyricism and his trusty acoustic guitar.
Coined "Sad boy folk" Alexander Saint's music is a mature take of honest storytelling about loss, love, and getting off your damn phone.
New Release
Saint’s newest single coming out on September 4th is called Other Hand. It talks about grappling with the reality of growing distant from a partner and a marriage, and how two people can completely change but still be connected. Those memories and feelings don’t just go away.
More about "Other Hand" in Saint's words:
This song took me a long time to record as I was not sure if I wanted to put it out, or not in a good place to talk about my divorce. Thanks to my co-producer and mix engineer Mark Calderone (Apt. Sea Studios), we managed to find a happy place, very reminiscent of Noah Kahan.
