ABSOLUTE TREAT
Absolute Treat is a Toronto-based project blending disco, rock, and synth-driven pop into a sleek, danceable sound. Led by Natalie Panacci, the project pairs hook-heavy songwriting with lush harmonies, live instrumentation, and a sharp pop sensibility.
Their debut album Dilettante released in 2022, with the single “Bonnie” later featured in the hit series Heated Rivalry, attracting a wider international audience.
In 2025, Absolute Treat released the EP Shattered Love via Victory Pool.
Absolute Treat’s live shows are built around effortless movement, atmosphere, and pop songs that stay with you long after the set ends.
CAM KAHIN
23-year-old Toronto alt-punk up-and-comer Cam Kahin’s explosive debut album CHUG, out January 23rd, 2026, via Dine Alone Records, is a raw and resolute exploration of emotional endurance. Kahin grew up in Dunnville, Ontario, a small community with 6,000 residents. Kahin always felt like an outsider. There were no music venues, and what art existed there wasn’t for him. On CHUG, Cam revisits his home town incorporating a persona of who he would’ve become had he never left. Born from isolation and forged in collaboration, the album channels themes of persistence, vulnerability, and the quiet rebellion of choosing to keep going. CHUG is the fullest realization of Kahin’s vision yet, it’s the sound of music as survival: loud, honest, and desperate to live.
HIS HIS
His His is the recording project of Toronto-based artist Aidan Belo, blending lo-fi folk and slacker rock into a sound that feels raw, intimate, and refi ned. Built on analog textures and understated performances, His His leans into restraint and clarity, delivering songs that are refl ective, measured, and detail-oriented. Since debuting in late 2020, the project has quietly built a growing audience, amassing over 2 million streams across streaming, with support from Spotify editorial playlists, SiriusXM, CBC, and tastemaker press. Rooted in a cassette-forward, analog approach, His His emphasizes warmth, tape saturation, and subtle imperfections, resulting in a sound that is immediate, cohesive, and sonically distinct. “The music benefi ts from Belo’s unwavering sense of melody and a keen ear for unfussy guitar tone and a serious economy of writing. His His est le projet de l’artiste Aidan Belo. Ancré dans le folk lo-fi , ce projet allie une écriture intime et épurée à des techniques d’enregistrement analogiques pour créer une musique à la fois chaleureuse, directe et émpreintée d’une douce mélancolie. Inspirée par la spontanéité et les imperfections inhérentes à l’enregistrement domiciliaire, Belo a un approche simple et atmosphérique, portée par des textures acoustiques, des sonorités et des interprétations sincères et sans retenue.
Depuis ses premiers lancements musicaux à la fi n de 2020, His His est discrètement accomplie par un public grâce à une série régulière d'enregistrements musicaux produits à la maison.
STATUS/NON-STATUSStatus/Non-Status exists because of a desire to connect communities, particularly Indigenous communities, through art and healing. Surely Travel, with its narratives about parts of the country many Canadians seldom think about, let alone see, will help the band achieve connection and community engagement in new ways. Previous engagements (2019 Polaris Long-Listed Warrior Down and the highly acclaimed 1, 2, 3, 4, 500 Years EP saw Adam reliving familial and communal truths in a challenging and revealing way; with Surely Travel, Sturgeon and band invite audiences into the landscapes of their own surroundings and desires and the awareness that they are simple observers to the natural clauses of the road, environment, connections and distances.
Putting forth an Indigenous voice in Canada’s musical culture is an important driving force for Status/Non-Status, which is fronted by an Indigenous artist (Adam Sturgeon). Status/Non-Status also engage in many community outreach projects that involve Indigenous populations across Canada (ex: Inuit of Salluit, QC, Wolastoqiyik of
St. Mary’s and Kingsclear First Nation, NB, and urban Indigenous artists of London, ON via The Rezonance Youth Internship Program).
