JAZZ.FM91 is presenting a Music Business Seminar for enterprising musicians in our community! Taking place in the Long & McQuade Performance Hall on Saturday, April 11, this all-day event is designed to help Canadian artists in all musical genres to gain knowledge and expertise to succeed in the Canadian music marketplace. We have assembled a collection of leading experts and award winning musicians who will share their knowledge and experience with you!
Presented in partnership with the International Resource Centre for Performing Artists this seminar will include opportunities to learn from a variety of leading industry personalities, develop key skills, participate in engaging discussions, and network with fellow artists. Whether you’re an emerging artist looking to start your career or an established artist looking to upgrade your skill set, you’ll learn what it takes to develop a successful career in the music business.

The event will feature a key note address by New York producer, educator, and journalist Jeff Levenson, as well as panel discussions and presentations designed to help you navigate the current music industry environment and build a successful career! Panelists representing the following organizations will provide their expertise: ADDO Records, Alma Records, Banff Centre, eOne Music Canada, Jane Harbury Publicity, JAZZ.FM91, Lula Music and Arts Centre, Music in the Barns, Orange Grove Publicity, TD Toronto Jazz Festival, Royal Conservatory, and Soundstreams.
