We’re celebrating our 11th year at SXSW in 2025, where we’ve proudly showcased more than 50 Ontario artists and supported the companies they work with. Founded in 1987, SXSW allows for unmatched networking opportunities, conference programming, and over 100 stages of music for showcasing bands & conference attendees. MusicOntario is excted to once again open a call for applications for SXSW 2025. Are you interested in showcasing? In order to showcase you must:

• be export-ready
• apply directly to the festival itself to maximize your chances of being selected to showcase both by SXSW and MusicOntario. Only SXSW accepted acts will be eligible to be on the Canada House showcase.
• Artist representative companies must agree to report back on successes resulting from this showcasing & business mission through a post-event survey sent by CIMA.
